College Admissions Advising
For high-school students applying to undergraduate programs
Why work with me
I'm an active Harvard College alumni interviewer (2021–present), conducting interviews for applicants from South Texas every cycle. I've also walked the academic path I help students prepare for — Harvard PhD, MD program at UT Southwestern (Presidential Scholar), and a research career at top diabetes centers.
Equally relevant: I came up through that path myself. I'm a first-generation college graduate from Brownsville, Texas, where I was recognized as Lopez High School Alumnus of the Year and inducted into the Brownsville ISD Hall of Fame in 2016. I know what selective admissions committees look for, and I know what it's like to apply to those institutions without an established pipeline. Bilingual English / Spanish.
Who this is for
Juniors and seniors targeting selective undergraduate programs — UCs, Ivies, top privates, and programs with strong science offerings. Especially useful if you're considering a science, pre-health, or research-track pathway.
